Aryan Khan To Spend Another Night In Jail As Bombay HC Adjourns Bail Hearing For Tomorrow-Reports
The Bombay High Court will on Wednesday resume the hearing of the bail plea of Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan in connection with the Mumbai cruise drugs case, a report published in The Times Of India said. Senior advocate and former Attorney General for India Mukul Rohatgi represented Aryan in his bail plea before Bombay HC. SRK had moved the High Court after both Magistrate and Sessions courts rejected his plea.

According to a report in IndianExpress.com, Rohatgi on Tuesday argued that no drug recovery has been made from Aryan Khan, and no medical test has shown that he consumed drugs.

An India Today report said Mukul Rohatgi argued that the small quantity of drugs recovered from Arbaaz Merchantt is not enough to keep Aryan Khan in jail. The court then adjourned the hearing - to be conducted the next day.

Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan, along with a few others, was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on October 3 in connection with the seizure of banned drugs onboard a cruise ship off Mumbai coast. Aryan was sent to 14-day judicial custody on October 7 and has been lodged at the Arthur Road jail since then.

Actor Ananya Panday was also reportedly summoned by the NCB on Thursday and Friday last week. She was summoned after NCB retrieved her chat messages from Aryan Khan’s phone, according to a report published in The Times Of India. She was also called for questioning for a third time on Monday. However, the actress did not attend the questioning owing to her ill health. The officials will reportedly issue fresh summons on a new date to the actress.
